BAGALKOT is a district of Karnataka which is located in northern Karnataka. In this this district has most beautiful three ancient place and temples. Located in the the small villages like, Badami, pattadakallu, and aihole. So today I am going to explain you about my experience of top place to visit in Bagalkot Karnataka. when I was in the city of Bagalkot.

1) BADAMI 

                   Cave temple of lord Shiva 

Badami is 37 km from Bagalkot 20 km from pattadakallu and 32 km from aihole. There are many famous historical places in Karnataka. And the badami, aihole and pattadakallu also most famous and most beautiful place in Karnataka. Badami that occupies an important place in the heritage history of Karnataka. Badami look is beautiful nestled at the mouth of a ravine between two rocky hills. The sands and big rocks of the past tell many old stories.

This badami historical place give a most beautiful look and mountain of rocks. There four caves the first one is dedicated to lord Shiva and second one is dedicated to  lord Vishnu third one is also dedicated lord Vishnu which images like seated and the fourth one is dedicated to Jain tirthankar.

2) PATTADAKALLU 

              Pattadakallu temple

After the badami i started to go pattadakallu. This is also in Bagalkot and which is near to badami. I reached out to pattadakallu afternoon at 2:30pm. I dont with my lunch. The lunch was rice it means the meals. I was talking steps in to the pattadakallu temple compund. I was very happy because when I was in school I read all about the place and temples but now I am in the same temple. It was so excited to see the temple. There nine more temples.

in the 9th century AD. This temple has been constructed in Rashtrakuta style with huge elephants welcoming the visitors at the entrance.

Pattadakal Dance Festival

In February under the sponsorship of Govt of Karnataka, the Chalukyan stronghold of Pattadakal, a UNESCO world heritage site, is the venue for the Pattadakal Dance Festival (also known as the Chalukya Utsava) with performers from all over the world congregating here.

You come through badami and also pattadakallu is 17 km away from the railway station. And the bus service also good and the road.hubballi airport is 130 km from the Bagalkot.

3) Aihole 

  ‘cradle of Hindu/ Dravidian temple                   architecture’

Aihole is the village of Bagalkot historical place and temples. There are hundreds of temples near the village and the most noteworthy among them the Durga temple.

Conclusion 

In the Bagalkot district those are the most beautiful historical place in Karnataka. If you are from Bagalkot district i think you saw all this i think.if not please visit once to experience.
