I took a bus from Wayanad Kalpetta town.
it took almost 35-40 minutes to reach the location.
But you still have to walk 2-3 kilometers to the main point.
Imagine a symphony of cascading water surrounded by lush greenery.
This is Meenmati Waterfall.
Meenmutti has three tiers and presents a breathtaking sight.
Hiking to the waterfall is an adventure in itself.
Traveling through dense forests, it offers intrepid explorers enchanting sights and soothing sounds of nature.
16) Banasura Dam:(21 km from kalpetta)
Banasura Dam is India's largest earthen dam and proves how ergonomics can seamlessly blend with nature.
The reservoir formed by the dam is surrounded by the Banasura Hills, forming a tranquil oasis.
A boat ride at the dam provides a peaceful haven and allows you to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding hills and water.
Kalapuzha Dam: Another gem of Wayanad, Kalapuzha Dam is surrounded by rolling hills and meadows.
The dam built on the Kalapuzha river not only serves as an important water source but also provides a tranquil atmosphere.
A walk along the rim of the dam offers panoramic views of the reservoir and its lush surroundings.
17) Lakkhidi Viewpoint:(16 km from kalpetta)
from the pookade lake I went to lakkadi view point. Someone told me that there is no ticket available, but when I reach there the police man said the there is no ticket for the view point.Located at a height of 700 meters above sea level, Lakkhidi Viewpoint offers breathtaking panoramic views of Wayanad district.
The gateway to the Tamarassery Ghat Pass, this viewing platform is often shrouded in mist, adding to the mystical feel of the landscape.
The winding road leading to Lakkidi is an adventure in itself, with lush forests on both sides.

Filled with history and spirituality, Tirunelli Temple is an ancient wonder perched on the Brahmagiri Hills.
The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is surrounded by pristine nature, making it a place of pilgrimage and a peaceful retreat.
The holy Papanasini river, believed to wash away sins, flows near the temple, adding a spiritual atmosphere to the tranquil setting.
Conclusion:
Simply put, Wayanad is home to many of its natural wonders, from the roaring Meenmutti Falls to the serene Banasura and Kalapuzha dams, from the mist-shrouded charm of Lakkidi View Point to the spiritual sanctity of Thirunelli Temple.
